QUALITY CONTROL

Quality is one of the main factors in the sustainable operation of a construction project. The building contractor is responsible for the quality of the jobs it has carried out, which must be conform to the requirements of the relevant contract, project and specifications.

AT THE CONSTRUCTION SITE DURING THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS, SIA 8 CBR’S SPECIALISTS CAN PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING QUALITY CONTROL MEASURES:

determining the compactness and load bearing capacity with a static plate BS 1377:9 in conformity with the requirements of the DIN 18134 method;

determining soil and draining layer density according to the Proctor method in conformity with LVS EN 13286-1 and LVS EN 13286-2;

determining the soil deformation (elasticity) module (Evd) with a falling weight deflectometer “Carl Bro Prima 100”;

determining soil density with a dynamic density measuring device (penetrometer) “Beldornii” (Model D-51.00.000).
