Valsts galvenā autoceļa seguma atjaunošanas darbi satiksmes drošības uzlabošanai.

RECONSTRUCTION OF THE ROAD OVERPASS OVER BĒRZAINES STREET, CĒSIS
Minor reconstruction works to the road overpass were commenced in October 2010 with the construction of a water main under the overpass. The remaining construction works were carried out during 2011.
The existing structure of the overpass above the reinforced concrete beams was dismantled and built anew, merging both spans into one. Repairs were carried out in places where the beams and supports were damaged and the entire surface was treated with torcrete to protect it against corrosion. A new rainwater drainage system was built from the overpass to the connection to the city’s systems. The cones were reinforced with coloured concrete paving, while the concrete steps next to the bridge were rebuilt.
The bridge was fitted with new H2W2 protective barriers, railings and road signs. In addition, additional work was carried out in the form of the replacement of the overpass approach surface structure.
